South Ridge offers nursery care that is located just across from the sanctuary so that your little ones can be close at hand. The nurseries care for children as young as 6 weeks-old up to 2 years of age and are divided into two separate nurseries for safety (walkers and non-walkers).

Our compassionate nursery volunteers will provide the following services:

• A safe and nurturing environment that includes interactive play with your child
• Behavior monitoring of all children for safety
• A paging system available to alert you if needed
  

Children who turn two while in the nursery will be moved up into the Children's Ministry 2-Year Old Class at the next designated move-up date in January, May or September. Our nursery volunteers may not be able to provide bottle feedings or spoon feedings to infants. We respectfully ask that parents attending the Sunday service provide meals prior to them being placed in our care if at all possible.

Snacks such as goldfish crackers are available in the nursery and volunteers can provide snacks or sippy cups that are brought with the child to the nursery. As a general rule, our volunteers will change dirty diapers. If you would not like your child's diaper changed, it is the parent's responsibility to inform our volunteers.
